MPM checks every row, sets aside anything that needs your attention, and adds the rest to your book. Nothing is written until the counts above add up.
This changes the counts you see above. Records already in your book are not written again either way — the import checks every row against your book before writing and reports the repeats. Nothing is lost: the original file is preserved first, and every skipped row is counted.
